Maranta - Prayer Plant
Marantas are incredible plants to watch move throughout the day. They are often called Prayer Plants, because their leaves fold up at night, like hands folded in prayer. Related to the Calathea, they tend to grow out, rather than up, making them a fun plant to hang.
Marantas need bright indirect light and moist soil to thrive. They are sensitive to the salts and chemicals in tap water. Use distilled or filtered water, or allow your tap water to sit out overnight before watering.
These Marantas are in a 4" or 6" pot.
