Purple Shamrock (Oxalis Triangularis)
Known commonly as the Purple Shamrock plant, these buds are great indoor plants and are very resiliant. Their leaves move during the day and tend to wilt a little toward evening.
Oxalis Triangularis like bright, indirect light (they can handle lower light better than their green cousins) and like to be watered when the first inch or two of soil is dry. They can handle long stretches without water, but may die back if ignored for too long. They will also die back in the summer, which is their dormant period. Don't worry, though, as the plant will regenerate from its bulbs. During dormancy, stick in a dark room or closet and water infrequently. Considered toxic to pets.
