A beautiful and fun cactus variety, the Parodia Schumanniana can be recognized from its many bulbous offshoots with yellow tops. When it blooms, it has beautiful yellow flowers. Though it may start small, the Schumanniana can grow upwards of 6ft given the right conditions.

Parodia cacti are unique among cactus in that they DON'T thrive off direct light - instead give them bright indirect light. They also accept more water than other cactus varieties, so you don't need to wait for the soil to dry completely before watering. To encourage blooming, give this cactus a cold and dry period in the winter before bringing a regular care regimen back to it in the spring.
