Coleus
Traditionally grown as an outdoor plant, Coleus do well in an indoor, potted environment as well. When cared for right, they can be a great hardy addition to any plant collection.
Coleus like bright light, but not too much direct sun. A spot with morning sun and afternoon indirect light would be ideal for them. If their coloring starts to fade, it means they're getting too much light. Coleus like their soil slightly moist, but never dried out or soggy. We recommend using a pebble tray to give it plenty of humidity. We also recommend pruning it to prevent it from getting too leggy.
If your Coleus starts to bloom, we recommend taking the flowers off, as the plant could go to seed if they're left alone, and die.
