One of our favorite succulent varieties for its unique coloring and the striking contrast it provides to any plant arrangement, the Black Knight Echeveria has long, slender leaves that are dark green/almost black.

Like most succulents, Echeveria like multiple hours of direct sunlight a day and well-draining soil. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. When watering, avoid letting water sit within the rosette, as these dudes are prone to root rot if left in sitting water. Also, be sure to trim any dead or dying lower leaves (natural as the plant grows) to avoid getting mealy bugs.
