A low maintenance plant, the Crown of Thorns is a beautiful addition to the sunny areas of your home, bringing its beautiful blooms to lucky caretakers. 

These dudes like full, direct light for multiple hours a day. Water thoroughly when the first inch of soil is dry, and make sure it's never sitting in standing saucer water. In the winter, water less (when 2-3 inches of soil is dry). True to its name, the stalk of Crown of Thorns is adorned with sharp, painful thorns, so always wear gloves when handling your plant. These are toxic to pets and can cause human skin irritation if handled without gloves.
