Well, enter the Ficus Daniella, another (and easier) ficus variety that brings compact glossy green leaves in a tree form to your home, ready to thrive in your space. These guys are relatively low maintenance, but may need a little love and care to keep it healthy.

These beauties like bright, indirect light and can tolerate small amounts of direct sun (think morning sun shining gloriously through your windows). Keep their soil somewhat moist (water when the first 2-3 inches is dry) and make sure they're in a well-draining mix. These will appreciate a little extra humidity, so give it regular spritzes of water or place next to a humidifier.
