Bright, indirect light is prefered but can tolerate partial shade in the home. Avoid direct sunlight – it can scorch the leaves. Keep soil moist at all times, but never soggy! When the surface soil becomes dry, water with distilled water - these guys are pretty sensitive to the chemicals and fluoride in tap water.
