Ming Aralia
With its chunky stems and fern-like feathery leaves, the Ming Aralia is a very attractive tree-like option for any space. It's gotten a little reputation for being finicky, but if you've cared for other houseplants before, you should have no issue!
Ming Aralia like bright, indirect light and can handle a little shade as well. Don't allow afternoon sun to reach the leaves - Ming Aralia especially like northern light. Water deeply when the plant had dried out almost completely - Ming are susceptible to root rot, so you don't want to water too often. You'll want to make sure that it is in a warm spot year round and away from cold drafts in the winter - if it's not warm enough, it will start to drop leaves. We recommend using a pebble tray or small humidifier to give it an extra boost of humidity as well (you could also mist regularly).
Considered slightly toxic to animals.
