Resurrection Plant (Rose of Jericho)
Watch magic unfold! In their dormant state, Resurrection Plants look like tiny tumbleweeds plucked straight from the dry desert. But, when given a little water, they open to reveal beautiful, spiraling green inner foliage. These plants are hard to kill (you may have guessed from the name) - they can even go years without water while in their dormant state.
Resurrection plants don't need soil to grow - we recommend putting them in a shallow, non-draining dish/tray with a layer of small stones or pea gravel to cover the bottom. They are a desert plant so prefer bright, direct sun. To water the plant, fill the dish about halfway up the stones - the plant will naturally absorb the water from the air. Let the plant rest between waterings - too much water and it may rot. Water again when the plant starts to curl back in on itselt. You may also want to mist your plant from time to time if you notice it starting to curl up again. Resurrection plants are sensitive to chemicals in tap water, so it's best to use distilled water or to let your tap water sit out overnight for these plants.
Our Resurrection plants come in 3" "pots" in a pack of two.
