Sempervivum 'Pacific Blue Ice'
This beautiful succulent grows in clusters of rosettes and is easy to grow and easily propagated. Hen and Chicks (Sempervivum) grow low and wide, with a central plant (the hen) sprouting many pups (chicks) that can be pulled and replanted to make several plants. The Pacific Blue Ice variety has ice blue-green leaves with pink new growth when it gets plenty of sun.
Like most succulents, the Hen and Chicks like bright, direct sun. These guys can handle a little shade, but their coloring may dull. Water when the soil is completely dry - these dudes are very drought tolerant and the quickest way to kill them is to overwater or put in a pot without drainage.
