Featuring big, beautiful ribbed leaves, the Alocasia Calidora are a great addition to your home if you're looking for a bigger, dramatic looking plant.
Alocasia need bright, indirect light (avoid direct sun) and a well-draining soil. Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry to the finger, but avoid wet leaves, soggy soil or standing in water. Make sure they're placed in a warm area of your house (always above 55 degrees) and have LOTS of humidity. We recommend a small humidifier or a pebble tray with these guys.
Alocasia are dormant in the winter and will grow slowly and may even lose some or all of its leaves. New leaves will grow again in the spring.
Considered very toxic to pets.
