Sometimes called a cactus due to it's shape, Stapelia grandiflora is actually a variety of spineless, clustering succulent. It produces starfish shaped flowers (hence the name) but it can be incredibly stinky when it blooms, so buyers beware! 

Keep in bright, direct light and water when soil has completely dried out. Fertilize during the growing season to encourage blooms. Sun stressing is completely natural and the plant may turn shades of purple or brown if exposed to direct sun.
