Tree Ivy (× Fatshedera lizei)
A hybrid between Fatsia Japonica and English Ivy, the Tree Ivy is a unique addition to any home. It will naturally grow in a more bushy way than regular ivy (if you want it to vine, you'll have to use a trellis and some plant tape).
Tree Ivy does best with bright, indirect or dappled light. A west or east window pane is ideal. Avoid direct light, but if the plant doesn't get enough light, the leaves will grow small and the stems will be weak. In the spring-fall, let the top 2" of soil dry out before watering; in the winter dormant season, let the soil dry out almost completely before watering. The Tree Ivy does appreciate extra humidity than a normal house can usually provide, so we recommend placing it on a pebble tray or misting regularly.
Considered slightly toxic to animals.
